TASKS: Finishing of Gramsci Portrait, Dance Software Improvements, Designs for Andy's piece.

The Gramsci portrait is done. Unfortunately, it took slightly longer than expected, due to the image resolution and speed of brush-strokes not being adapted for the smaller size of the painting. With the image this size, there is no obvious increase in quality running the image at a high resolution. The Taylor portrait was larger and left a much more vivid impression in less time. However, the use of a roller to coat the bottom layer of the painting was a fantastic time saving success, and will probably be used in most of the subsequent paintings.

Also today, the dance software had most of the problems ironed out of it and will be tested tomorrow. The speed of movement can now be controlled via MIDI controller, and multiple start and end positions can now be chained together to create longer dances.

We also did a small audio test for an upcoming project involving balloons and Andy did some more research into the possibilities for his piece.

The painting software was adapetd so that two people can now work on the same canvas, which will hopefully increase efficiency even further. This will also, hopefully be tested out tomorrow.
